Shadow 06:03
Just like things have been rough. You've been stuck in your rut. Was it ever enough? I never saw a light. You will bring it to me. Bring indefinitely. I saw you once. When you were young. Shed your skin. And become someone. All this experience. It doesn't add up. All the experience. It doesn't add up. I want more. I want an open door. Interrupting the chore of the meaningless next. Search for an exit from this world. Were you there, by my side, all this time? Were you the omen that passed me by? Were you the spark, corrupting my sight? Were you the sunlight, in that memory? Casting a shadow under the tallest tree.
2.
Hillside 05:03
Let's say you were alone. Standing on a hillside. The windows in your home. Longing for sunlight. Afraid that we're all alive .With no purpose. No purpose. Just to wake up each day. And participate. With no purpose. No purpose. Were you awake for that part? When they took your heart. Is that what sets you apart? Did you break that heart? Is that what set you apart? Lost, amongst the trees. Your car parked on the street. Agitated, yet weak. They all gathered round for your speech. And you're finally alone. Oh my god. Oh my god. Make it stop.
3.
Looming 06:31
Woke up in the wrong life. Cut you out, my young wife. I long for the absence. Grown tired and indifferent. A forest to drift through. Voices that pierce through the noise. Damaged body. Prove me wrong. Why do you have to take so long? Delicate and empty vessel of glass. Shattered. When it comes to the end, stand over my body, whispering "Set me free."
